300 TE Estate: electrical problems: looking for garage Bath area

Could anyone recommend a garage in the Bath area that would be good with sorting out the electrical problem with my 300 TE estate, in the Bath area? I have used the dealership at Peasedown and have had good experiences, but was curious if there was any other places to go.

300 TE Electrical problems

With the heater on, radio, back window de-mister, wipers etc. at the same time, everything runs slow (wipers) and the radio goes dead. After awhile everything is OK. I have had the battery check and it’s OK.

Problem sorted– alternator wire had cracked in the loom. Ended up taking to the dealer in Peasedown St. John, Bath.

What was the dealer experience like then?

We always take the car to the dealer, and have always had a good experience in Peasedown. We could take to the local garage, but in the past they always seem to muck it up and you end up going back a couple of times to get it sorted.

The dealer seems a bit pricey at £92 an hour but at least it’s one trip, the car gets vacuumed and washed, and all the coffee I can drink!

We had the self levelling rear suspension done last summer and and they did a good job with it, and the top end the year before. The car’s a keeper now!
