I was degreasing the cam cover last night on my 88 300 TE, and noticed a strange sensor that has 2 vacuum lines attached to the top of it. It is located just off the RHS of the cam cover. It looks like the lines run off to the RHS of the bay, and into some sort of junction box in the battery compartment. One of the vacuum lines has broken the stub that it seats on, and is making an intermittant connection.
Has anyone any idea what this sensor does?
