hi
my 300ce-24 engine dies if I try to accelerate rapidly from low revs , if I do it slow then its ok, similarly its ok if the revs are in the mid range when I start accelerating. In an older car with carbs the symptoms would be like those of a too weak mixture.
With the engine stopped i find there is no fuel pressure in the delivery pipes but repacement pumps have made no difference niether has new filter or the tiny filter at the supply union to the fuel ditributor .
I have also repaced the distributor cap and rotor arm , also plugs.
i am thinking of looking at the pump relay, fuel pressure regulator and rotary idle actuator but these things are so expensive for the merc
Anybody with any sugestions , advice? please

To discount your fuel pump relay you could put a voltmeter on the fuel pumps to make sure they are getting 12 volt under load.

Fuel pump relays normally respond to re soldering all the connections,

try with meter

hi
its like being a detective , the008 545 84 32 thing is now the 011 545 82 32 thing according to mercedes, and its called control unit engine sub assembly control mas , oh and my car according to a telephone conversation with the stealers is now amg spec, I am even more confused and wish my coupe was as simple as my rolls royce to work on and order parts
