Hi all,

I am a new member to the forum and thought this should be my first post!!!

My name is Lambros Jamil and im 21 yrs old, i am a qualified mercedes benz technician and the prooud owner of two good Benz's. One being my completely restored 1984 Merceds 500SEC the other my new toy....

A 1990 300CE 12v Mosselman Bi-Turbo only 2 previous owners and orignial factory bill for both the vehicle and turbo conversion which was carried out in Germany by Mosselman themselves.

The car has full service history and stack of paperwork, it is roughly about 305BHP and is amazing to drive... It's a trully unique piece of mototring history and as soon as i can i will post some pics up!!!

I know that there is not one other one in the UK well not in right hand drive anyway and at a price of 53,000 GBP back in 1990 i now know why. 40% of the service history was carried out by Mercedes Benz Germany as the car travelled there occasionally. The rest is MB-UK then specialist as the vehicle became rarer and noeone had a clue of what they were lookign at!!!

It features a Le Mans type LSD (MB factory) and uprated auto box (MB factory) the car is absolutely mint and is blue with creme leather interior. It has TWO KKK trubos fitted with hard piping and intercooler it has seperate management and 560 fuel injectors the car is beautifully set up and returns great MPG better than my 500SEC. All aftermarket goodies are MOSSELMAN and are still recognised by them and MB-Germany as the car is plaqued and features a unique chasis number to prove the car was literally a one-off!!!

The car was built for the BISHOP BROTHERS for those who know. VERY VERY Well respected wealthy businessmen renowed in central London in the early 1990's.

Reason im posting is beacuse other than showing off, (he he he) im trying to find out who knows bout this vehicle and also any idea what its worth????

can anyone help???

thanks!

lambros

Since they are known on Benz world and there are a few left hookers over there, is it worth asking them the value.

If anybody's interested, there's an article in Jan 2004's Mercedes Enthusiast about these cars. Wow!

Nice to know Brentford still exists I did a couple of weeks training on the old Bosch mechanical petrol injection there back in the late sixties.
