Not sure if these are linked in any way, I suspect not, but here goes:
Neither of the retractable rear headrests work, and the front seats don't lock in position (even with engine running on the move etc.)
I pulled out the passenger side rear seat to find what looked like 2 'boxes of tricks' for the vacuum system. When I press the retract switch for rear headrests there is a click from the rearmost box (I assume a relay) but nothing happens. Checked all the pipes from here to the headrests and there are no kinks or signs of leaks.
In front of this is what looks like a small black motor which was hot to the touch so i disconnected it. Not sure what it's supposed to do but i'm assuming it's lnked to the seat backs.
Does anyone know of a difinitive guide or exploded view of either/both of these systems as it's not in the Haynes manual.
Many thanks
Chris
