You need to check that the vacuum capsule on the injector pump is working correctly, and whether or not it is getting a good vacuum signal when you turn the key off.

The usual test approach, having checked the obviously visible vac pipes under the bonnet, and having checked that the vac pump is producing good strong vacuum, would be to connect a mityvac to the vacuum capsule on the pump, and use the pump on the mityvac to stop the engine to prove the vacuum capsule is OK, and then check the piping and the vacuum switch on the ignition barrel, tracing the piping back, eventually to the vac pump.

EDIT: I forgot to say - If you do find the vac capsule on the injector pump has failed, be extremely careful when replacing it. If you mis-install the new capsule, the engine will go into a runaway condition, and the vac capsule will not be able to stop it (if you're lucky, the stop lever on the pump might work (depends if the mis-installed vac capsule gets in the way or not). Either remove the flexible inlet trunking and have a CO2 fire extinguisher on hand to pump in there to stop combustion, or again with the flexible trunking removed have a greasy piece of sturdy board available to seal off the intake. Make these preparations before you re-start the engine - not as it's revving, about to self destruct!

Thanks again for the help I found the cause very quickly when I got your advise
There was a frayed hose at very front of engine that leads to a triple hose going back to inj Pump/ I just cut a piece that had split at end reconnected and everything is back to normal.
