Hi, this is my first post to the forum. I just bought a 1977 300D which is in amazing condition inside and out.
The only problem seems to be that the brake indicator in the dashboard is on all the time. The previous owner (who I trust) assures me that the brakes have been checked and are in good shape (they feel great), and he has even supplied me with a new master cylinder which he purchased and never installed. His mechanic advised him that everything was working correctly, and nothing needed to be replaced.
If all this is true, does anyone have any idea why the brake indicator light would be on?
Thanks!
Michael
