hi all
i am the owner of above vehicle.advised local mechanic to change small piece of hose on cooling system because it was split.hindsight is a wonderful thing(5min job,only two jubilee clips)WRONG.appears that thermostat housing and other pieces require to be removed also for access.mechanic has advised that i might as well replace water pump whilst i have access.present pump is fine,car has covered 90 thousand miles.i purchased it a week ago.quality and engineering at its finest.
could anyone advise on matter.
