As a general principle I understood that the more valves enable the engine to 'breath' more freely at higher revs and hence give more power higher up the rev range but at the cost of responsiveness and performance (albeit only marginal) lower down the rev range (Variable valve timing overcomes this by either not operating one valve at lower revs or reducing the lift/duration the valves open by at lower revs). If you go from a 2 valve to 4 valve head I would not therefore anticipate any appreciable increase in torque (maybe even a reduction) but the engine should rev out a bit better. Assuming it fits at all of course, which I'm afraid I have no idea about.
