I don't want to offer "advice", but my 300CE-24 is such a lovely motor I couldn't advise you against one.

Markovich.

I've seen yours at the April GTG, and as you says its in good knock for its age. Things i would consider are.

1) you will be getting a car thats 8 years younger.

2) you are getting a car thats done 60k less.

3) parts SHOULD be more readily available for the younger car.

4) how much more is the 300 going to cost in insurance.

5) the 300 24v has fiercesome performance, with the potential to eat fuel if you give it some

6) how much work can you do on it if the engine give trouble? i find mine easy to work on, but then i was a mechanic for 17 years!!

7) lastly, and most importantly, i adore my 300TE and would recommend one to anyone who wants to listen

Hope this helps
