Since I bought my 300E, the Tempomat had problems. 1) If set at high speeds (160kmh+), it slowly loses it's memory and decelerates at a constant tempo. 2) If set at speeds below 120kmh, it maintains the set speed, but has a very uncomfortable jerky action. 3) If I use the stalk to accelerate, nothing happens. 4) If I use resume, it takes forever to reach the set speed. Is there a cable connection between the unit and the throttle linkage which could be slack? Where is the unit attached to the engine block?
