Hi,

I'm looking for help on a 1988 300SE. The car belongs to my dad and he has it from new. It recently had a refurbed engine put into it yet it is still not right
as the mechanic reckons the carbs are gone. Does anyone know of a set that
are available. Or failing that breakers yards that will ship to ireland that carry that sort of part?

I thought the 300Se was fuel injected?

I think I would look for a new mechanic. The 300 S class hasn't had carbs since the 50's.

I think that is your problem tell him to try fitting the injection unit back on cause if it?s a 300SE then it is fuel injected and not carbs

My mistake guys., I just spoke to the mechanic and its new injectors he is after. any ideas on where to get??

Don't think I'd get injectors from a scrapper.

They have the injectors in stock for £21 ! I can't believe how easy that was
(hopefully this will fix the problem).
