Hi everyone

My 300Te, is acting up, Seems to occasionally when moving along, start to judder, (sort of kangaroo) like it is losing power then suddenly springs into life! then other times it just won't go very fast at all.

Fuel or spark, typically.

Fuel: Check fuel filter, it could need replacing. Alternatively you could have a failing fuel pump relay. On the 300TE-24 this is a fairly pricey module sitting behind the battery, to the left as you look towards it from the front on the car. It also manages trans electrics, engine management and aircon functions. Totally different from 12v 300's. Mine failed and it took me a while to suss it. It is over £200 new from Mercedes, but can be found secondhand for a lot less.

Spark: Check your distributor car and rotor arm, these can be prone to condensation I am told (though mine never has). Also as these are pretty tolerant they can be run to the point where the cap is almost falling to bits. This should be evident when you look inside.

That's my best suggestion on the scant evidence you offer so far. Stick with it, the 24v 300 motor is a beauty
