300TE - potential probs

Does anybody know of any probs with 300TE's?

300TE

My first Merc was a 1990 G reg 300TE, bought in 1994 with 58k on the clock.
We ran it til 1999, 130k, during which time we recharged the a/c, bought a new exhaust, and replaced part of the alternator.
The rest was regular sevicing, brake pads, tyres etc.
An absolutely wonderful car; maybe lucky, but the full MB service history and an AA check were perhaps the key to our good luck.
Find a good one and IMHO it will last you years if you look after it.
