300TE seatbelts

I am looking into the possibility of fitting a 3 point seatbelt into the middle rear seat of my 1991 300TE. Does anyone know if it is possible please?

It will be physically challenging as I dont see how/where u r gonna attached the mounting points but I could be wrong ...

Anyone have an answer to this one? I am going to France in the summer and would prefer all the children to have a three point belt (or travel in a different car, however I don't think that will be possible! :cry: )

if you have the seven seater sit one of them in the back and put the luggage on the main back seat.

Works for us and stops the little sods fighting

I dont think its possible, we used to fit seatbelts years ago when a lot of new cars didnt come as standard, its only possible to put lap belts in, which u already have i guess...

I also do think you cannot do this.

The 7 seat option might be doable if you can source second hand - try emailing Nick : nick.mercedes@ntlworld.com

Other forum members may have ideas for alternative sources. Buying new is, I would have thought, far too expensive.
