380SE front seat replacement

Hi all,

This question will be mostly regarded by you all as blasphemous but it's necessary!

We're in the plymouth-banjul challenge and having driven our 1982 380se from Newbury to Exeter for the launch party yesterday, I found the front seats to be way too hard and unforgiving!

Can you recommend what (if any) other car seats would fit the mounts? (the best seat I ever sat in was a fiat strada 85cl seat...)

Obviously the current seats are no use to us and so will be up for grabs when replaced.

Any help will be greatly appreciated - especially by our bums after 3700 miles!

Open up the seats and put tennis balls in the springs, then add a layer of foam between the seat pad and the cover.

Cheap and easy, and should do the job.

Good Luck,

Richard
