Anyone want to lend me a few quid? As I am just falling short of the money to make a bid.
Actual amount I am short is £422,000

Its a left hooker, and to be truthfull I think that my SL is more comfortable, I had a Masserati some years back, they soon fall to bits and get tacky, mine suffered water leaks that were inpossible to fix, Ill pass thanks.

Best question I have noticed so far.

Q: My husband says he would kill himself in this car!, so I was wondering if we could have it on a buy now pay later scheme?, and I will forward the money just as soon as the insurance comes through.

Hi Malcolm
All Enzos are LHD, unfortunately.
Sad to see that it didn't sell. According to the newspapers, it was set to be the biggest sale on UK E-Bay.
However, would you trust over £400k of your (or the bank's) cash to someone with only 91% feedback?
Sorry to hear of your bad experiences with Maseratis. I would guess that you had maybe a Bi-Turbo. The modern day Maseratis have come a long way, and are well up there with Mercedes and BMW build quality wise.

My first one was a Mistral, the one that went to a point at the front with no bumper, it was always getting knocked on that point,That car had a magnisium head. I bought a Ghibli, with no power steering, and that was impossible to park in town being so heavy, Though in my eyes I think that is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, so I sold it on, the demo runs did not include town centers, luckily I lived within 2 miles of the start of the M1.

Hi Malcolm
The Mistral & Ghibli were both beautiful cars, but as you say, were never going to be reliable enough to compete with the more mundane cars of the late sixties & early seventies.
I agree that the Ghibli is a good looker. A friend of mine has a red one which lives in storage. It is a running joke, that all the time it is in storage, it can't break down.
I once briefly owned a Khamsin. Beautiful looker, but dodgy electrics and zero rust protection.
