3rd gear shift Auto

I have noticed the change from 2nd to 3rd on my Auto box is a bit of a jolt when the car is cold, when it warms up it smooths out again. Is this a sign of future trouble ? thank you. P.S. car is 64 plate C class diesel auto W205.

Sounds like the torque converter starting to fail.
They have a tendency to lock up when cold, then smooth out when warm.

It's 5 years or 77,500 . Or when it plays up

Wud say op in "playing up" stage. Dirt in oil and or yrs OK sludge will play havoc in oil ways, solenoid valves on modern trans
Try a flux and oil change. It a cost of oil n / filter. About ur cheapest option methinks
