4 wheel alignment in South Devon

Just had two new rear tyres fitted at KwikFit but they were unable to check alignment so I went to another one who could check but not adjust on my car! It seems the alignment does need tweaking though.

So as per the thread title, any recommendations on reliable alignment as I don't want to go to another KwikFit?
One suggestion from another forum is AMS tyres and autocentre.

I got my W251 from Wilding Motors. Ian is a top bloke and loves the brand. Perhaps give him a call and ask, they are also an indy garage. He is in Paignton.

Depending where you are, at a push I'd say Gupa-P in Coxside, Plymouth, but only for alignment. Wouldn't let them fit tyres after they crunched newly-refurbished alloys with their tyre press!

Tyresmiths I've always found very good.

Thanks for the replys. I'm in Totnes so will probably go for a more local one. Unfortunately I have been laid low by a bad cold which seems to be doing the rounds here, so it will have to wait until the end of the week. It's not as though I'm doing many miles at the moment.

I know Ian, and nearly bought a car from there. I don't remember seeing any alignment gear in the workshop when I had work done on my previous S203.

Well this turned in to a bit of a confusing situation. The place I chose gave me a readout that showed that all the parameters were well out including caster and both cambers. I was a bit dubious as Avantgarde had done the alignment 2500 miles ago and all was well.
In the end I was a bit worried and booked it in at Mercedes Benz Exeter who could do it the next day for £99. They said the toe was slightly out but with a few minor tweeks all is well. They even took it for a test drive as I had complained about the steering wheel position. Helpful people and good service.

It just goes to show that despite all the people having Hunter Elite equipment, the results can vary. The proof will be if my tyres wear evenly.
