I have an '87 420 SEL and the sunroof has just started to "act up." It doesn't always work and when it does it is erratic. For example: I slide the roof back and then when I push on the button, it won't close. But when I push in on the button, as if I wanted just the back of the panel to go up, it will close. So in other words, I now have to play with the switch to get it to work and when it doesn't work at all, when I push on the button I can still hear the "clicking" noise of the motor located in the trunk which leads me to believe that there is still power going to the motor. Is there anyway to test the switch? It's certainly easy enough to remove, or is the problem located somewhere in the motor?.....thanks
