Hi all, really hoping someone can direct us to the root of a little problem we are having.

My wife (for it is her car) ran the fuel tank a little dry recently, and we think this problem has occurred since then. The car drive fine from cold, but after getting to running temp is very sluggish from both standing and under acceleration until exactly 2,000rpm. from then the car drives fine.

We have sent it to our local merc specialist and they gave it a once over, changed the fuel filter, but it still has the problem. it is better in sport mode, but before I chuck it back to them, i thought you all might be able to direct me to a likely source.

Thanks in advance.
Paul (and Lisa!).
