500SL (R129) Stereo Upgrade

Any suggestions or information on fitting rear speakers (size position make etc) to my '93 500SL would be gratefully recieved. Just saw rear seats for sale on EBAY, removed to fit speakers but I don't want to go that far.

Help.

The front speakers in a 129 are twin fitted inside a plastic pod, very hard i would guess to fit after market ones?????
