51 C220 CDI Classic - Upgrade Options

Recently bought a 51 C220 CDI Classic with very low mileage. There is a bit left in the budget and the condition of the car deserves some 'sensible' upgrading but where to start ?

The things that seem to jump out are:-

1) Alloys - but what size makes most sense ?
2) Sport Grille - www.chromiumtech.co.uk do these work ?!
3) Bonnet emblem (to replace the star)
4) .....but what else should I sensibly be thinking about ?

Get it 'detailed' and then maybe pop some amg alloys on it. Aside from that, nothing.

Some cars lend themselves well to modding - Pugeots for example. Mercs, as a rule do not. The more you spend, the cheaper they look. People in certain parts of London have been known to spend tend of thousands making their mercs look cheap and tacky.
With very few exceptions, the classyest looking merc is a factory spec one.
And leave the star. Its not a sports car, its a quality saloon.
