51 reg 270cdi clk starting problems

hi Guys, new to site.

when I start my car in the morning it will fire up and start for around 3secs and then dies. I then have to turn engine for around 3oseconds and it will eventually start.

is this an MAF meter problem ? I obviously don't want to buy one and be stuck with it if not.

more like a air in the fuel system, the seals on the pipe fail letting air into the system, norm pipes are the filter to high pressure pump, cheap to replace!!
