Hi all, was wondering if anyone has replaced the stock radio with a single din head unit? I have done it a few times with other cars, buying a single din cage and fitting was always quite straight forward with the plugs on the back being interchangeable. Be good to know if I need anything extra, harness etc before I start! Help and advice appreciated as always.

Please put up a picture of the rear of the radio you want to fit PLUS the connector ends of all the cables hanging from the radio making sure the colours of the wires are clear. Thanks.

Looks like standard iso fittings so replacement should be fairly straightforward and mostly plug and play.
You might need an adapter to power the antenna amp via the co-ax (I can’t remember if Mercedes use the antenna lead to power the amp or not (a lot do))

Grand! Thank you. Waiting for the cage to arrive then will take out and investigate. Don't have the original radio code, so don't want to disconnect before I am sure it will work! Appreciated.
