I have a 1989 560 SL. Ocassionally the check engine light flashes and the engine starts missing and sometimes stalls. The event lasts several minutes and the goes back to normal. My mechanic thinks it is a ground wire short, but has not been able to find it. Has anyone else had such a problem? Where do I look?
