560SEL creaking trim

I have just bought a 560sel and very pleased with it although the trim creaks constantly. I assume it is from the door cards? As anyone else have this problem and can suggest a remedy?

The car also has a Scorpian alarm system which doesn't work, is this an after market item?

I have the creaking trim problem on my W124CE. Not found an easy cure other than locating each source of the noise and putting a dab of silcone rubber sealent between the offending panels. Its taken ages to find them all but I am finally winning the battle.

I would agree that the first port of call would be the door cards and then perhaps the front A pillars.

As for the scorpi0n alarm, your best bet is to get down to an alarm installers and get a decent one fitted. The Scorpion alarms are very basic and not much of a deterrant. Having said that, have you tried switching it on (usually switch is hidden in passenger footwell) and seeing if it has anylife at all?
