6.2 litre or 5 litre turbo?

Go for it.if u have garaging and runabout.caution is, pretty sure taxes on big thirsty motors goin to really hurt in not to distant future

I need to buy a garage first.. some people call them houses. I want to get a garage for two cars with a house attached. :)

Priorities.

AMG don't make a 5.0 Bi Turbo. It's either a 5.5 Litre (M157) from 2010 onwards, or the later, from c2016, 4.0 (M177)

They did make an M278 4.7 litre twin turbo which was badged as a 5.0 but it's not an AMG design, nor has it the performance to match one. Oh, and there shouldn't be any turbo lag in either of the AMG engines mentioned above.

I've got an E500 with a remapped M278. When I bought the E500 I passed on a CLK63 as it doesn't have the low revs torque of the M278. My M278 is certainly not laggy, the turbo whistle starts around 1500rpm, and there's instant pick up and shove in the back at any revs or road speed, in any gear, which is what I want from a V8.
