Hi
I read somewhere on this forum (can't remember and can't find where) that the in dash 6 cd changer is capable of readin MP3 cds but only a certain number of tracks. I have tried mine with a MP3 cd but with no success.
Does this vary with models or is my memory failing me.
thanks

I think the cd changers became mp3 compatible in 2004 so you may have just missed out, depending on manufacture date. Mine is compatible but it's a late 2004 model.
Just drop an mp3 track onto a cd and it should play it if it's going to, though you could also try a couple of different make cds as I've had a bit of trouble with one or two cds not being recognised reliably.

I read somewhere that some of those mp3 capable units had certain limitations like couldnt read ID3 tags. Those had to be removed before burning.
