6 disc cd not working

Hi, CLK 350 Convertible 2007.... cdc has stopped working.... not being recognised by Command.... have checked fuse 20 OK.... have removed it out of glove box to try to reset it by removing wires on back....to no avail..... and cassette will not eject..... is it knackered?? any help please....thank you

Try messaging DND services. They've just fixed the CD bit of my Smart's head unit that local repairer couldn't.

Cassette may be jammed. Before doing anything, try pressing the eject button and at the same time rapping the cassette with the handle of a screwdriver or something similar. You may have to do this a few times. Usually due to the lube in the mech drying out.

Thank you, tried 6 times no response, appears dead and no recogniion on screen as just says "Radio" used to say CDC as well.
