6210 - not charging in car?

I ahve a C32 with the command / phone opton. When I have the phone in the car kit it initially says phone not charging - and it doesnt! Works perfectly well through command and charges in the normal way in the house - an ideas?

check the to pin on the passenger side of the cradle these are quite delicate and do gett damaged a new cradle is about 70 quid
