DFF83DB2-17AD-4C2A-8C1D-FE1338F348F7.jpeg Hello
I’ve got a 67 plate c200 w205 c class sedan and it’s done 8500 miles I had a fault code of p2200
It says it’s the box sensor are these codes reliable or could it be a different problem further up the chain

also are there any diagrams for cars, like manuals for fixing them!
Thanks

welcome !
Nox sensors are a common failing, so this could be right- a Mercedes independent with STAR will be able to confirm and fix once this crisis is over

I bought the carsoft and got this. Was told to get this software as better apparently.
Seems to suggest the same thing. mid there a diagram to show me where both the sensors are located and what one it actually is.
thank you

No I’m not. So looking to do it myself.
Then take it and pay to get the software upgraded

I’ve seen one on the exhaust and it’s one bit and electrical block so not a problem. I’m a heating engineer by trade but I have manuals to view parts!
That’s where I’m struggling in locating the fecker that needs swapping!

Take a look behind the resonator towards the rear of the car.
The Nox sensor is Part# 250 in the diagram below.

Don't confuse it with the Temperature sensor (Part #220)

lovely thank you. Is the the bank 1 sensor!?

With a 4 cylinder in line engine you only have one "Bank". Bank 1 is where cylinder #1 is located.
With a V engine, bank 1 or 2 refers to which side of the block the sensor is located.
