what is the official length of the dipstick on the 722.6 5 spd box ?

They do not have one and the ones you buy are longer as they are not meant to be left in place.
I understand they are designed to be used with the graduated tab touching the bottom of the pan.

ok , as much as I find that odd it makes a sense of sorts , at least I can use the one ive bought for purpose then

1.2m. It's what I have always used. The 90cm one is too short.

They are supposed to be - you don't leave it in there.....
