Yes it will be the plate £135 plus fitting and easy to fit, and do the filter and fluid at the same time

You could get the codes read out

002 to 007 stored is the ECU
012,013,108,109 is loose connector on ECU

If the car had lost the speed signal then other things would show up, so the fault should be within the box, a read out will tell you
