770 AMG 19" SPOKED WHEELS WITH MIXED TIRES

So my fronts are 245/35 ZR19 XL and rears are 275/30 r19 96y all Continental Sport Contact 6

But my question is are my wheels themselves different sizes?...am having to make the trek to Scotland and considering winter tyres and ideally want 245/35 all round and not have to go the staggered route.

Yes, the rears will be wider

Simplest solution is a separate set of alloys for winter

I'd imagine the fronts will be 8.5 j and rears 9.5j based on those tyre sizes.

My c207 coupes wheels are all the same size , but it's the tyres that are staggered, bigger on the rears .

Hi guys, do not normally post on here, i have e220d wagon amg line w213 2017 and was concerned about the staggered front and rear sizes for winter tyres. After some research decided on smaller set of borbet alloys 18 inch with 245/45 r18 Goodyear ultra grip performance gen1 all round. Good solution and works perfectly well. Puchased as a package wheels,tyres and tpms sensors, were delivered fully assembled, just bolt them on using supplied bolts.

Separate alloys with winter tyres are definitely the way to go.
I fit the size recommended in the manual (turns out to be the smallest diameter and width), but all corners the same size.
Whichever set of rims/tyres are not in use they are covered and locked to hangers that are bolted to the garage wall.

That's what I did , bought from wheelbase . Ride quality is better also than the 19's

Yes agree with the above, thing is its a single trip up to Skye in January...where as usual stomping ground is south coast where they are not generally needed. I will have to hope for no snow! don't fancy sliding off the A82 in Glencoe.

Well they've definitely got snow up there now.
A set of winter tyres for one trip sounds pricey - unless you could sell them on afterwards.
Another option would be for All Season tyres - not as good as Winters but a massive improvement over summer sport style tyres in cold or snowy conditions.

Saying that I just run my winter tyres for about 4 months of the year - during that time my summer tyres aren't being worn out. Over time the cost evens itself out.
