Hello.
My problem is the following: I have accidentally taken off the cap at the back of my new ignition switch after having removed the original switch. The result of this is that I have no clue as to to which terminals the wires should be connected.
Here is a picture of the setup as I have it now:

Clockwise, starting at the top, the terminals read:
P30, 15, 30, 15X, 30, 50, 15R.

I hope you will be able to help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Crikey, looks like the terminals have also become cut off accidentally,

OK,

P = Green/White (thin)
30 = Red x 2
15 = Pink/Red
50 = Violet
15X = Pink/Green
15R = Pink/Yellow

15 = ignition supplies to various circuits
30 = battery voltage
50 = starter solenoid
P = supply to light switch for parking lamps

Thanks a lot! I figured it out yesterday using good old trial and error (with my head on the pedals :D ).At one point I had the heater and the windshield wipers working without contact only, and at another point I had the starter motor engaging with the key turned just one phase. At least I will never forget the correct order now :D.
By the way; the wires have been cut because it is a replacement switch. The old one didn't function properly anymore.

Glad you got it working, bit confused as to why you cut the wires when changing the switch, could you not get the plug out? (key has to be in position 1) Just curious.

Hmm, I was pretty sure it was screwed down.

Yes the switch is screwed in, but the wiring plug pulls off when in position 1
