'88 300CE Question

Hello!

I'm new to the forum and wanted to ask a few questions from some of you out there that may be more experience with the 300CE.

I recently purchased a 1988 300CE and have been trying to find repair parts for some of the items on the car that need attention. A specifically hard to find item is the electric feeder caster for the seat belts. I can hear the little motor running after getting in the car, but the seat belt feeder doesn't move forward on either side, leading me to believe that the plastic cylinder (?) for the mechanism is broken.

Any hints on where to get the part or if that's even the issue?

Hello and welcome, if you find your car here with the VIN

you will find all of the seat parts listed with part numbers , look at other 124's and see if the broken part is the same number, if it is you can go to a breaker or even try MB.
