Not sure if they are realted but they started at the same time.
Radio is OK, sound from CD changer is extremely low but it is playing and working. I suspect and amp is gone or not turning on. Which one and where. I also have a very fast battery drian, within 3-days.

Perhaps the CD problem and the battery drain are related it could be shorting somewhere and causing the battery drain - 3 days isn't as quick as some. A very low current is all that is required to flatten a battery in that time.

Try disconnecting the stero components and see if the drain goes away.

Otherwise it's fuse removal time when the car is standing, with a multimeter to measure current drain from the battery (or leave it for 3 days with the fuse removed).

After a while though the battery will tire of being charged and discharged.

There are 2 reasons for the battery drain on the 230 and I have spent quite a bit of time on this subject

The battery converter box in the right hand side of the boot is one reason, and the Comand not going to sleep is the other..

You can remove fuse f77 from the rear box behind the seat and check the current drain after 20 mins when the car has gone to sleep. Mine drops to 05ma with the fuse out

We have one member where the fault was the battery converter, and we have my car where the fault is that the Comand does not go to sleep, both faults are well known reasons
