94 C220 Draining battery, buzzing sound near air intake

Hi guys, my 94 C220 keeps draining the battery and I have discovered this faint buzzing sound near the air intake with the ignition off, the only way to stop it is by disconnecting the battery.

Is is the throttle body? The big silver thing at the end of the plastic intake hose?

on the left by air intake on my ml was a vacuum actuator with a filter hanging off the bottom which gave an annoying buzz when engine off and looking under bonnet, took a while to identify it as source, didn't drain battery though,

If the ops car is buzzing constantly then it could be an issue with the switched circuits not turning off, as the throttle body will buzz with ignition on.

Hi guys, yes its coming from around the throttle body, as soon as I reconnect the battery even after days it starts buzzing with the ignition off. Im only assuming this is draining the battery, but if its buzzing constantly its got to. Have heard of looms breaking down but surely this would break the circuit.

My r129 loom suffered from loom disintegration. It ran fine most of the time with random ASR faults being the only issue. When you looked at the loom it was knackered. I'm actually amazed it was still running at all.

Flipping heck thats bad, such a fire hazzard
