94 SL 320 rear child booster seats

Hello one and all

I'm new to the owners club having just bought a lovely 1994 SL 320. I have an issue with the rear bucket type seats as my two boys 4 and 6 love going out for a drive and I need some suitable booster seats to keep the feds happy and keep the boys safe. I've been to Halfords and Mercedes and they don't do ones that really fit the seat shape. Any ideas? Anyone got some they no longer use that will fit?

unless I miss my guess

the seats are already kiddy seats ( they are in my 107). What you might need is a Britax-Rohmer Vario-Ronny. It's like a table that fits up to about chest height, and the belt passes in front of it. Stops the kids whacking themselves into the back of the driving and passenger seats. Ideal for lap strap fittings like the centre belt of most older car back seats, as well as the lap belts in the back of most sports 2+2s.
If your 129 already has 3 point belts, then you might just need a belt lowering set-up, rather than a booster seat.
Either way, have a google and see what comes up.
I found this, but couldn't find it on the site of the firm where I bought ours ( Halter-mobil in Germany, recommended for good service)

Thanks, I'll have a google about and see whats what. My German is not good but I have a friend who lives there who might be able to help. Incidentally Britax said that in their opinion it is unsafe for children to sit on booster seats with lap belts but the systen you have suggested looks quite interesting

I had a look on the site and had a Google about but cant find anything! I have a friend in Germany who is also going to have a look. Does anyone have a suitable seat ( I need 2 ) for sale??
