96 C180 ECU part number compatability..

hi there...

im new to this, so be nice!

i have a 96 (N) c180..

original ECU has died.. (NOT immob, JUST ECU)

(part number of original is: 0185454232)

got a replacement ECU with part number :0185454132

will this work in its place? phoned a Mercedes parts dealer and they had no idea... i suggested cross reference the pair but they still no clue.

any ideas?

HI!

I hope you could give me a hint. I have a Siemens 5wk9124 benz number: 0185454132 , with a dead ignition coil output. Since they are impossible to open without cutting the bonds, I want to replace it. Are they interchangeable as used parts or they need some recoding? I have the SD connect 4.
