The instrument cluster in my '97 C 280 has begun to work only intermittantly. About half the time I have no instruments working at all; the other half everything works OK. The dash light work OK regardless of the instruments. I've checked the fuses and they are OK.
My local service station mechanic (who is generally pretty good) says he sees a Service Bulletin for a "kick down cut out relay module" as the source of this problem, but can find no reference to that part in the All-Data system he uses. Does anyone know about this problem and its solution? Any help would be appreciated.
