Hi folks, can anyone suggest why the blower in my car doesnt work, where is the fuse? is the motor easy to get to or have I opened a whole can of worms? your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the passenger kick pannel (above feet ) The blower and regulator are in there. check the voltage going to the motor, this increases the higher the setting until it gets to battery voltage at full speed, if ok the motor problem. if voltage not ok then check signal to the regulator pack, again going up with speed setting to 5-6 volts at full speed (not 12, just a steady progression the more you turn the dial on the cotrol pannel. hope this of help

Normally a blower or regulator fault, check for signs of water ingress

Thanks very much for the quick response and I think telling me all I need to know, I was dreading a dash out job! Are the fuses for this in the main box under the bonnet or elsewhere in the car? Anyone know? Many thanks Bob
