I have just got a c220 diesel estate car with manual box- really dont think they make good manuals, should stick to autos or at least give a handbrake instead of footbrake, nightmare on a hill start :?.
Anyway.... if i switch ignition on, wait for glowplug light to go out and continue to start, EPC light stays on and car runs like bag of nails, if i do the same procedure but switch of after glow plug light out and then start, all ok??
also does seem to sometimes take a cpl heats before car will start, any ideas ?? help:confused:

I personaly think the foot operated "hand" brake is better than those hand operated.
Very soon you will get used to.
