Hi,

Got an issue with an e200 autobox
Seems to stay in the gears longer when cold and sometimes and i have to use tripronic to force the change earlier. Transmission fluid was changed few months ago but no difference. Could be be the conductor plate?

Thanks

At that year l think the auto box was still meant to hold onto the lower gears longer to reduce warm up times. So your car behaviour is probably normal.
Silly idea though in my opinion.

Absolutely this

The gear is held when cold to help warm the transmission fluid, engine and cats. Normally clears within a mile or two.

To an extent the above - BUT we are in the middle of summer!

My W220 does this is in the winter - but in the summer - never.
