Thinking about a change but want to stay with merc.
Must be est & diesel - recent bad press leaves me wondering what model next? Perhaps there is model worth buying?
No probs at the moment but feel time for a change!
Comments welcome.

Hi

My opinion would be to hold on to your present car and try for 300K.

I've the same problem as you. I'm thinking of replacing my W202, a sport Coupe is tempting, but can I trust it as much.

However mine's done almost 210,000 mile and is still going strong hiding it's age extremely well. So there should be plenty of life left in yours.

Dont change it, spend some money on the car instead, give it a good overhaul, check everything out and it will be good for another 150k. If you change it you will be looking at a lot of depreciation and you will not get the same reliability.
