99 c250 sills for mot.

Hi all. I need welding done on sills for mot..2 questions! Are the plastic covers removed quite easily, and can i get aftermarket sills anywhere? Having trouble finding online. Many thanks in advance!

I think the plastic sill cover thingy's come off reasonably easily. Don't know about the actual sills but I'd imagine a decent welder would be able to fabricate something to patch up the original sills if necessary. I got rid of my C280 due to rot in the sills and some other issues and l understand the purchaser has successfully repaired the bodywork.

Thank you, my friend is a good welder, but won't know the extent of it till get covers off!
