99 c250td w202 fuel leak

So..I have been plagued with air in system,hard to start parked up hill..I had a quick look today and all the white clips holding pipes in were loose from last time pipes were changed! Seated them all, but then noticed a drip on bottom pipe.
More investigation showed that the leak was coming from top of what I guess is fuel pump? Box lower down rhs of engine, with 5 pipes coming out of top, to injectors?
They are held in place by metal clips screwed down with star head screws.
Has anyone come across this before? Is there seals I can replace, or is it more complicated!
Hoping this might cure air ingress when fixed too...advice appreciated.

Delivery valve seals will be perished and leaking.
You need five seals and this special tool to remove them…

This is the socket for the removal and refitting of Mercedes OM601, OM602, OM603, OM605, OM606, OM615, OM616 and OM617 delivery valve holders. The valve holder is item 6 in the exploded diagram and has 33 splines and approx 19.3mm outer spline diameter

Cleanliness is of the utmost importance doing this job, takes a couple of hours and you must be surgical in keeping dirt out of pump.
Also try not to break the plastic clamps on injector lines as they are stupid expensive.
