Hi All,
Can anyone help :-
The power locks have stopped working on my A-Class !!!
I used the BLACK manual key to unlock the car..as i misplaced my remote key fob (i only ever use this normally).
Then when i found my remote fob..it would only operate the alrm disarm/arm function...but the pwr locks stopped working !! on the remote and with using the key in the drivers door lock also the push button in the centre of the dash panel does not work now ???
I have checked +12v across the fuse OK.
The pwr lock system is totally dead.
The local repair shop has a Sun diagnostic scanner tool ..but it will not "talk "to the CAN BUS on the Merc !!! It does not offer a Body System ECU option to scan for fault codes or interogate the circuit at all.
Is it possible that to reprogramme the key fob to a default state that operates alrm & pwr locks without a trip to a Merc dealer ££££.
Does anyone have acircuit for the pwr locks ??
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
