- Now a 2005 55 plate C Class 220 CDI Estate Auto in Iridium Silver with Black Nappa Leather.
Hi to you all out there. I joined the forum on the 1st April 2018 simply because I had become so exasperated looking for several years for an SLK 230 but had also considered a SLK 320 in both cases it would be an automatic.
I am fully retired and in the greater scheme of things I am skint and survive on my State Pension (Most definitely NOT A BENEFIT) and a very modest Private Pension.
I do not smoke, gamble or entertain fast/loose women and my only real crime is my love of motor cars of which I have had a few over the years.
I was 31 years self employed and forced into retirement earlier than I wanted - in November 2010 after a total left knee replacement that required more surgery than most experience - it left me with a non load bearing joint and as my trade/profession meant being on my feet all day and handling furniture that inevitably got heavier as it progressed through the stages of being built-up.
At 73 years young I am still here above ground and hopefully will be so for many more years into the future.
I finally dipped my toe into SLK ownership with a 2004 (53) plate CAT N (light front bumper damage) low mileage 59,961 miles example with MoT history and a service book that would support it as correct !!
The car is Pewter Silver Metallic aka Cubanite Silver Metallic.
